Did you know?
Galvanitas chose a design with the typical compass legs. Instead of the usual tubular structure, the designer decided to go for a pressed steel frame.
This resulted in a remarkably solid and revolutionary design for that time.
Wim Rietveld, one of the pioneers in the field fo industrial design deescribed the furniture as functional: ' great shape, sturdy, practical and inexpensive'
Table T.D.4 is immediately recognisable as the brother of the S16. With the same clean lines and characteristic compass legs. Originally most often used in canteens and as teachers desks, now perfect as a dining or conference table. A great addition to your sleek interior. Minimalist to perfection!
The original T.D.4 is quite small. To meet today’s interior demands we designed a larger model together with Galvanitas.
