Two KM05 wire stool designed in 1953

by Cees Braakman and Adriaan Dekker

for Pastoe.This is an original stool from the fifties,

recently there are re-editions produced

but this has a lot more charm and age to it.

It is in a good condition and it shows a little

bit of wear, but overall it is in a good state. 

One of them has still his original "Flamingo" name tag.

Set van twee originele vintage draadkrukken KMO5  (eerste editie) een ontwerp van Cees Braakman & A.Dekker voor UMS Pastoe. Periode: 1953.


Gezien de leeftijd in zeer goede vintage staat. 

Een van hen heeft nog zijn originele "FLAMINGO" sticker.

De strakke draadconstructie geven deze stoelen een ruimtelijk effect.

Pastoe’s story began in 1913 in Utrecht, when German-Dutch businessman Frits Loeb (1889-1959) decided to produce chairs in a traditional cabinetmaking workshop to sell in his own shop. His atelier—named Utrechtsche Machinale Stoel-en Meubelfabrik (UMS) at the time—quickly grew and in 1917 moved into a large factory facility, manufacturing furniture for a range of retail outlets. In 1918, the factory was moved again to the Rotsoord area in Utrecht, where it is still located today. While the early furniture lines
