This rare coffee table was manufactured in Ghent, Belgium by Van den Berghe Pauvers during the 1950s.
It was designed by Jos de Mey and features a black wooden frame with the original plastic string  

(magazine rack) and a glass top. In very good condition.

Jos de Mey (1928-2007) was a Belgium painter and furniture designer.
